I am now in the VIP lounge at the Penang airport getting ready to leave for Singapore. The amusing thing is that I am in their business center using their computers for internet access. They have network jacks which don’t work, and it looks like each of their terminals is hooked up using individual DSL modems which are pretty darn slow. On top of that, they are still using Internet Explorer 5. So of course, being the good geek that I am, I downloaded and installed (yup, no proper access security setup either) Firefox for the benefit of future net travelers.

When I got to Singapore, I had a meeting with our country manager, then met with one of our sales leaders. After that, my weekend is free until Monday morning.

The ironic thing is that everyone had been asking me if I have adjusted to jetlag and the change in time zone, but actually, it was more just a matter of being a bit worn out from the late nights and busy schedule.

Enjoyed dinner with my cousins Steve and Valerie at the British Club. Tomorrow should be more relaxation and good food with family in Singapore.
