I’m dun. Hehe, that’s what I got out of a b-school education, J/K. I finally finished the three year Fully-Employed MBA program at UCI and graduated with the class of 2006. Sure felt like a lot more than three years. I still can’t believe I’m finished, I don’t think it’s really settled in yet.
Rebecca gave me an Xbox 360 for graduation. The thing is I’ve been asking for an Xbox for years and she would always say that if I had the time to play it, then I could get it. Which translated, “You do not have time to play video games, so you can’t get it.” I guess after working full-time and going to school for three years, I now get to claim back some of the time that was committed to school. Of course, being that I have a very smart wife, the gift came with a card that had some conditions laid out as to the use of my new toy and the amount of time it was allowed to suck out of my life.
Thanks to all my friends and family, especially my wife and daughters, for their loving support for all the times when “I had to study” (I really was studying
). If anybody wants to come over and play, let me know, I’ll have to check my family planner to make sure I have the time available
.
[...] Ever since I got my Xbox 360 last June, we’ve had the most fun while playing Lego Star Wars 2. And now there’s another way in which the 360 has been adding to our entertainment value by way of a free program published by TVersity. [...]
[...] Ever since getting out of school, I’ve felt like I was getting busier and busier, which was entirely true with our company’s big bi-annual convention coming up in September. And now that the convention is over with and we are back from Asia (more on that in a post to come), I am realizing that for the last couple of months, I’ve been stuck in drive mode without taking time out to breathe and process all that has been going on in my life. This is made obvious in how infrequently I have posted on this site, the only two times being when I did take a short respite, once for our trip to Santa Barbara and another for our Wedding Anniversary dinner. Thanks Des, so is it congrats on graduating or getting an Xbox 360
Congrats!
You’re right, definitely felt like more. As for the kids playing with the Xbox, we’ll have to see about that…

you guys are so funny… i can just see all the guys holing up in your house like the old days, except now the kids want to play too.
there is NO condition in the card, I was just “encouraging” you to keep up your self-discipline!! hehe…
